How do I consign my items?
Appointments are arranged in advance by phone or e-mail. House-calls can be arranged for large amounts of items as well.
Do you buy items outright?
Our business operates primarily on a consignment basis and any Items for consideration are based on what it is you are selling and the demand for it.
How do you arrive at a price for the items I bring in?
Pricing is mutually arrived at and is based upon condition and potential to sell in the current market.
Prices must be reasonable to keep things fresh and our consigned items selling.
If you can, please supply us with any background information you may have on your item(s), and also any concerns you have about pricing. We will try our best to arrive at a price that will attract potential customers while benefiting the consignor as well.
What is the consignment split?
We have a 60/40 split. 40% of the selling price goes to the consignor, 60% goes to Patina Vintage.
How long do you consign an item for?
Items will be kept for a term of 90 days. It is the consignor's responsibility to pick up any unsold items. If items are not claimed it will be assumed that the consignor no longer desires the item(s). They then become the property of Patina Vintage. Accounts will be paid at the end of the 90 day term. All articles are left at the consignor's own risk. While Patina Vintage takes reasonable precaution, we are not responsible for any damage or loss for any reason whatsoever. **All uncollected monetary amounts will become void and will be forfeited to Patina Vintage.**
